How Much Can You Make Money On Youtube | Tips To Increase Money
How much can you make money on youtube? You can make a lot or a little. That totally depends on your video niche i.e, mobile, tech, dating, travel, etc. As well as on your audience.
Here audience are :
- Viewer Age group
- Viewer Country
Also, on the number websites/brands targeting the subject in the video.
A common calculation used to estimate a YouTuber’s earnings is $1 per thousand views which is pretty close but not entirely accurate. When I had just a few subscribers, my earnings were always on par with the lowest end of the estimation, but as my channel has grown I’ve gone closer to the lower-mid range of the spectrum.
My guess is that a channel with no subscribers is the lowest end, and as the count grows your ad value increases and you earn more towards the middle and eventually the top.
Example: I personally know a recipe channel owner and she is making around 2 – 2.5 lacs INR per month $2000-$2500 per month after getting over 3M – 4M views per month from INDIA.
A tech channel from USA is generating $5000-$7200 per month after getting only almost similar traffic as a recipe channel.
But, there is no assurance for this much as well. As, with the competition increasing, the payouts are decreasing with every day. New Youtubers are coming with the new methods and make their videos attractive.
How Can You Make More Money on Your YouTube Channel?
There are some easy steps by following that you can make more money through youtube.
1. Use Narrower Approach
Advertisers want targeted YouTube channels where their ads on a specific type of person can view than a random user. This is a narrower approach than a wider random thought.
Keep in mind your targeted audience. . This is the shotgun approach that’s too general and vague. You cann’t talk to a 21 year old girl the same way you’d talk to a 55 year old lady. So, define your audience and develop interest of your audience, tell them that content is for you.
2. High CPC KeyWords
Some keywords have high CPC and some have low. Advertisers will pay more for the keyword, having CPC $17.63 than keyword having CPC $1.38 because the end return is a lot higher of 1st keyword than the second one.
Consider the two cases below with the given keywords and their cost per clicks.
Case 1 You make a video to give review of the new iPhone. That video gets 1,000,000 views, of which your ad Click Through Rate (CTR) is 0.1%. It means 1,000 people clicked the ad. If the CPC for that keyword is $1.38, advertiser has to pay $1,380. Google keeps around 45% of your income. You are making your payout $759. This gives you $1 per 1,317 views
Case 2 You make a video teaching people about home loans. That video gets 10,000 views, of which your ad Click Through Rate (CTR) is 0.8%. It means 80 people clicked the ad. If the CPC of your keyword is $17.63, the advertiser has to pay $1,410. Google keeps around 45% of your income. You are making your payout $776. This gives you about $1 per 13 views.
From both cases, you should know that the money you make on YouTube depends on what advertisers pay for than how many views you get.
In order to make more money, you just have to choose a specific niche and high CPC keywords. You don’t need to get millions of views, you have to get enough views and you will make more money.

It would not work. So, be patient and keep uploading videos.
